VISIT OF A CZECH REPUBLIC BUSINESS AND SCIENTIFIC DELEGATION TO THE TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY OF TAJIKISTAN AND DISCUSSION OF COOPERATION

On the instruction of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting was held on May 22, 2026, at the Technological University of Tajikistan between the University’s leadership and a Czech business and scientific delegation. The delegation included representatives of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tashkent, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, as well as representatives of companies, research institutions, and higher education institutions from that country.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Rector of the University, Rahmonzoda Zoir Fayzali, welcomed the guests to the University and expressed gratitude for the Czech side’s interest in developing international cooperation in the fields of science, technology, industry, and higher education.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the primary objective was to establish mutually beneficial cooperation between the Technological University of Tajikistan, the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, and organizations and institutions in the Czech Republic. In this context, issues related to participation in international scientific and educational competitions and projects, the implementation of joint research programs, innovation development, academic exchange, and the strengthening of scientific and technical ties were discussed. It was noted that the Technical University of Tajikistan, as one of the country’s leading technical institutions, has extensive opportunities for expanding international cooperation in the fields of information and communication technologies, artificial intelligence, robotics, digital systems, light industry, and food processing. Accordingly, the visiting delegation toured the university’s material and technical facilities and became acquainted with the institution’s educational and research capabilities. The parties also discussed the implementation of modern technologies in production, the digitalization of the industrial sector, the development of scientific research activities, as well as the organization of seminars, conferences, and joint educational programs.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to strengthen long-term cooperation and implement joint projects in priority areas of science, education, technology, and industry. They regarded such meetings as an important foundation for the development of international scientific and technical relations.
