CIRCULAR ECONOMY – IN THE CONTEXT OF IMPLEMENTING THE CONCEPT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND DIGITALIZATION OF THE ECONOMY

Under the same title, on April 17, 2025, in the conference hall of the Technological University of Tajikistan, with the support of the rector of the university, doctor of economics sciences, professor Rahmonzoda Z.F. and within the framework of the European Union CirculEc project and the initiative of the Faculty of International Management and Marketing, a round table was held with the participation of professors, teachers, masters and students, dedicated to various issues of developing a circular economy.
The round table was opened by the head of the academic team of the project, associate professor Sattorzoda A.A. with an opening speech and a report on the topic “The need for circular economy education in higher education in Central Asian countries”.
The round table was attended and delivered by the vice-rector for science and implementation, doctor of technical sciencesYaminzoda Z.A., the vice-rector for international relations, doctor of technical sciences Ikromi K.I. Then scientific reports were heard by the vice-rector for implementation of strategies and development of innovative technologies, associate professor Ghafforov F.M. on the topic “The role of digital technologies in the circular economy”, the head of the department for implementation of strategies and innovative technologies Jafarov A.S. on the topic “Green skills in the development of a circular economy” and the head of the education department Mirzoev Sh.T. on the topic “The role of business models in the implementation of a circular economy”.
Following the presentations, participants exchanged views and held a question and answer session on various aspects of the development of a circular economy.
