THE CONSTITUTION — A PATH TO A PROSPEROUS FUTURE

On November 4, 2026, a high-level scientific and literary conference on the theme ‘The Constitution – the Path to a Prosperous Future’ was held at the Technological University of Tajikistan.

A congratulatory note from the Rector of the Technological University of Tajikistan, Rahmonzoda Zoir Faizali, on the occasion of Constitution Day of the Republic of Tajikistan — entitled ‘The Constitution: the guarantor of sovereignty, national unity, the rule of law and the sustainable development of the government’ — was read out by the first vice-rector, Nasriddinzoda M. Sh.

It was noted that the period of our country’s independence has demonstrated that the way in which the State and Government of Tajikistan are following under the wise and far-sighted leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of our country, the esteemed Emomali Rahmon, aimed at building a democratic, law-based, secular and social state, as established in the country’s Constitution, is the correct direction that embodies national interests, contributes to the systematic development of the state and guarantees a peaceful and stable life for modern society of Tajikistan.

We are proud that Tajikistan was one of the first post-Soviet countries to adopt its Constitution through a nationwide referendum. As the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, stated: “Every citizen, from the youngest to the oldest, has a duty to study, understand, respect and observe the Constitution — the document that determines the future of the country. ‘As the Constitution strengthens the foundations of our country and paves the way for a progressive society, a developed nation, and a prosperous and free life,’ it was noted during the speeches.

To conclude the event, attendees watched a vibrant cultural program featuring performers from the university’s ‘Zukhal’ song and dance ensemble.
