On October 24, 2026, a scientific and educational seminar titled “Quantum-Safe Systems: Computing, Security & Communication” was held at the Technological University of Tajikistan. During the seminar, Gaffarzoda Firuz Mukhriddin—vice-rector for strategy implementation and innovative technology development, and associate professor in the department of information technologies and the digital economy—shared insights from his participation in the international training program “Quantum-Safe Systems: Computing, Security & Communication.” The program took place from September 30 to October 13, 2026, under the ITEC international initiative, at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) in Mohali, Republic of India.
During his presentation, Gafforzoda F. M. shared the knowledge and experience he had gained in areas such as quantum computing, quantum algorithms, Python programming, modern information security technologies, and quantum communication.
Also of interest were the use of the Qiskit, Cirq, and PennyLane platforms, the study of Grover’s search algorithm, quantum machine learning, and the BB84 protocol for cryptographic key distribution.
It was emphasized that the study of quantum technologies and modern information security systems is of great importance for the development of digital education, the strengthening of research capacity, and the training of competitive specialists. The knowledge and experience gained can be used to improve educational programs, introduce practical training sessions, develop scientific research, and expand international cooperation at the Technological University of Tajikistan.
