From 13 till 15 November of this year, the International Universal Exhibition “Tajikistan – 2025” which were held at the Dushanbe Expocentre, where more than 60 companies and enterprises from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Pakistan, the People’s Republic of China, Belarus, India, and Saudi Arabia presented their goods and products.
In the OFINU – Open food innovation University project working group from the Technological University of Tajikistan and associated partners from the Khatlon Region Entrepreneurs Association and CJSC Dushanbe Milk Enterprises, with the support of the National Erasmus+ Office in Tajikistan, participated in this event for three days. To present the project’s goals and the process of piloting educational modules at universities participating in the project’s consortium in Tajikistan, entrepreneurs and food industry participants were presented with printed materials and an informational and promotional video prepared in tajik language, explaining the nature and benefits of the new form of education.
It should be noted that entrepreneurs and exhibition participants, as well as media representatives, paid particular attention to the project and its presentation by the working group and considered the introduction of this new form of education important for strengthening cooperation with industrial enterprises and, thereby, improving the quality and compliance of higher education with the requirements of the socio-economic development country’s.
