In September 1990 at the high Collage of Technological of Tajikistan was founded department of Chemical which had been directed to preparation specialists of food production.   The structure changes were conducted in 1991, which it aimed to found specialists in the department and the Chemistry department was divided into two departments “Chemistry” and “technology of food production”.  The Scientific Board of TUT and food production technology was founded  in 25. 12. 1996 year, from the 05.12.1996 with the order of rector under №250/ox. (The Head of department was appointed PhD Senior Lecture Bobojonova  Khursheda) That includes the new founders Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry (The Head of department was appointed Bobojonova  Kh. N) and “The Department Technology food production” (The Head of department was appointed Shaboni Yusupov) Engineering and      Technological faculty was  founded with the decision of  Scientific Board of TUT   from the 05. 09. 2009 and Gafurjon Hakimov was appointed the dean of the faculty Ph.D senior lecturer Qurbonov Faizali was appointed as an executive duty as the Dean of the faculty from November and the Dean of the faculty was appointed from the 01.01.2010

September 1991 department as independent “Technology of food production” was founded.  The Head of the department, candidate of chemical was appointed head of the department by a decision of the Board of Scientific University in December 15, 1996, the Department of “Science and Technology Industry” was founded that it was included in the “Department of food”.  Due changes structure in the Chemical department in September 2000, the department Biochemistry (head of the department of biological sciences senior lecturer  Khursheda Bobojonova ) and “Food technology” (head of the department, PhD chemical sciences senior lecturer Shaboni Yusupov) were founded. From February 2003, the department as the Department of “Technology of food production” was called. Executer head of the department Faizali Qurbonov was appointed. September 5, 2007, by decision of the Scientific Board of the TUT under the №01 5.09.2007 the department “Technology and equipment food production” departments” The department of machines, equipment and provision of food quality” was distributed. In 2006, the Head of Department” Department of food production” was assigned to the senior lecturer Hakimov Gafurjon
