Department of Information Systems and Technologies

The Department “Systems and Information Technologies” is an integral part of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies of the Technological University of Tajikistan, in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Education”, “On Higher Professional Education and Postgraduate Education”, “Typical Regulation on Higher Educational Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan “And” Regulation on the Department of Higher Education “of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 8/4, dated April 13, 2006.

The department operates in accordance with the Charter of the Technological University of Tajikistan and other regulatory acts in the field of education. The Department “Systems and Information Technologies” is a subdivision of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies of the Technological University of Tajikistan, was created on the basis of the combination of the departments “Informatics and Information Protection” and “Information Systems”, by decision of the Academic Council of the University No. 79 / KhU from September 04, 2014.

The department, as expected, prepares qualified specialists for work in various state and non-governmental institutions, primarily in the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, including law enforcement and security agencies, financial institutions and other institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as research organizations where research is organized on information security issues.

Strategic Mission Department

– preparation of bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy (PhD) in accordance with the requirements of state and international educational standards for specialization in various industries, ministries, public and private education enterprises, higher educational institutions, research organizations, and state bodies of local self-government of the Republic of Tajikistan .
