Department of Humanities was formation based on the department of the state language and humanitarian disciplines at the 1 January 2010. New formation department received the name of the “department of humanities and personality development”. At the February 2011, the department was rename to the department “Pedagogics of higher education and humanitarian disciplines.” With the September 2010 till February 2011, the head of the department was doctor of philosophy, professor, Khojamurodov O.Kh. With December 2011 the department was rename again in the “department of humanities and personality development”. The head was appoint PhD in Philosophy, acting associate Professor, Sharifov I. U. With November 2016, the department was rename as the “department of humanitarian disciplines”.
