The Department of Editing, Translation and Publishing of Publications of the Technological University of Tajikistan is a structural subdivision of the university administration, which edits and publishes scientific articles of professors, graduate students and university staff.
This structural subdivision is interested in the implementation of editorial activities and publishing of published materials of the university and other scientific and educational institutions, and also helps to publish them in a timely and high-quality manner and gain access to them.
The department oversees the activities of the journals “Bulletin of the Technological University of Tajikistan”, “Bulletin of the Technological University of Tajikistan (Department of Humanities and Professional Pedagogy)” and the weekly “Fanovar”, providing favorable creative conditions for their development and publication.
The Department, in accordance with the laws and legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan, including the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan: “On Publishing and Printing Activities”, “On the State Language of the Republic of Tajikistan”, “On Information”, with orders and decisions of the Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of higher professional and scientific education, with the Model Charter of this university, with decisions of the Academic Council of the university, as well as with orders and instructions of the rector of the university, which is a substructure of the scientific and applied department of the university. In administrative subordination, it is under the control of the vice-rector for science and application.
The main task of the department is to plan and implement activities in the field of editing, translation and publishing of the University, and it also establishes state standards and criteria for the publication of scientific works, determining the compliance or non-compliance of books submitted for publication, and the compliance or non-compliance of scientific works with the requirements of the Tajik spelling rules. The Editing, Translation and Publication Department consists of three permanent employees: the head of the department, a specialist analyst of research and publication work, a specialist translator (editor of scientific publications) and two external employees as specialist translators (editors of scientific publications).
