MEETING AND CONGRATULATIONS BY THE RECTOR FOR THE WINNER OF THE PRESIDENT’S CUP

Rector of the Technological University of Tajikistan, Doctor of Economic Sciences Rakhmonzoda Zoir Fayzali, met with second-year student Nurullo Ahmadov, who is enrolled in a joint educational program (specialty 1-360701B) offered by the Technological University of Tajikistan in partnership with Polotsk State University.

At the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Judo Cup, Akhmadov, competing in the under-60-kg weight class, took second place and won a silver medal. The rector had a warm conversation with the student about his performance at this prestigious tournament, expressed his gratitude and appreciation, and highlighting him as an exemplary student of the university.

It should be noted that on October 17–18, 2026, the National Judo Championship for the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Cup (for adults) was held at the sports complex in the Kulob city; the event featured judokas from across the country and attracted a large number of fans of the sport.

As a result of hard work, regular training, willpower, and high level of athletic skill, Nurullo Akhmadov achieved a valuable achievement —an accomplishment that is a source of pride and honor for the Technological University of Tajikistan. To commemorate this significant athletic achievement, Nurullo Akhmadov will be presented with an award established by the university administration during a formal ceremony, the university’s rector noted.
