On September 16, 1992, on the basis of the order of the rector of TUT No. 139, the Department of Economics and Management was established.
In 1996 in connection with the reorganization on the basis of the Department of Economics and Management, the departments of Economics of Enterprises and Entrepreneurship and Economics and Law were formed.
In 1998 Department of Economics of Enterprises and Entrepreneurship was renamed the Department of World Economy and Financial Market.
Since 2009 The department “World economy and financial market” was renamed to the department “Innovative economy and management”.

TARGET:
to provide fundamental training in the complex of modern knowledge in the basic disciplines of management;
to ensure the development of skills in using modern management tools based on information technology;
ensure the formation of abilities to analyze trends in the development of the economic system;
ensure the formation of a systematic way of thinking.

Since 2013 to date, the department is called “Economics and Management”
