ASSOCIATION OF GRADUATES OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY OF TAJIKISTAN

The Alumni Association of the Technological University of Tajikistan, hereinafter referred to as the “Association,” is a self-governing organization based on voluntary membership, established for the purpose of carrying out activities determined by common interests and aimed at mutual support of TUT graduates, as well as the implementation of prospective educational and scientific programs.

The goals and objectives of the Association include disseminating information about the professional achievements of individual and collective members of the Association among TUT students; utilizing the experience and capabilities of TUT graduates to implement educational, methodological, scientific, and economic-production projects related to the strategic development of the University; promoting broad awareness of the University, its traditions, history, and current status; facilitating the establishment and development of TUT’s international relations; and participating in international exchange programs for students, postgraduate students, and graduates.

The Association assists in career guidance activities for young people, supports the organization of student recruitment, and promotes the employment of TUT graduates. It also contributes to the development of social partnership and the coordination and implementation of mutual interests among business communities, state and local authorities, educational institutions, and public organizations in cooperation with TUT.

The Alumni Association is a developing community of graduates from different generations, established on the basis of professional communication, shared interests, and common pursuits. The Association serves as a platform for maintaining connections with the University, exchanging experience, realizing the professional, scientific, and creative potential of graduates, enhancing the University’s competitiveness, and preserving and promoting the values, uniqueness, culture, and traditions of university education.

Membership in the Association provides an opportunity to maintain continuous contact with the University and stay informed about its current activities.

Main areas of activity of the Association:

• organizing meetings of graduates from different generations;

• participation in student events organized by the University;

• support of alumni initiatives;

• holding seminars, conferences, and meetings on current issues and challenges faced by graduates;

• creating a modern information environment for alumni communication;

• strengthening professional and creative ties among graduates;

• information exchange between graduates, students, and postgraduate students;

• creation, maintenance, updating, and management of an alumni database covering different graduation years;

• facilitating the development of scientific and business cooperation between the University and enterprises, organizations, and institutions;

• providing free assistance in job placement and employment of university graduates, etc.
