DEPARTMENT OF SCIENTIFIC WORKS AND IMPLEMENTATION

The Department of Scientific Works and Implementation is one of the key structural units of the Technological University of Tajikistan, responsible for coordinating and overseeing the university’s scientific and research activities. The Department’s activities are aimed at developing the university’s scientific potential, improving the quality of research, and strengthening scientific cooperation at both national and international levels.

The Department takes necessary measures to create a favorable scientific environment within the university, engage faculty members, researchers, doctoral candidates, and students in research activities, and support research initiatives. As part of its activities, the Department develops cooperation with research institutes, higher education institutions, and scientific organizations domestically and internationally, facilitating the practical application of research results.

Main Goals and Objectives

The main goal of the Department of Scientific Works and Implementation is to develop research activities at the university and create a favorable environment for scientific research and creative activity. To achieve this goal, the Department carries out the following tasks:

• planning and coordinating research activities across all university departments;
• developing and implementing scientific programs and research projects;
• monitoring and analyzing the execution of research plans;
• supporting the development of scientific schools and the formation of new research directions;
• engaging students and young researchers in scientific work;
• organizing conferences, forums, seminars, round tables, and other scientific events;
• supporting the publication of scientific articles, monographs, and other research outputs;
• facilitating the application of research results in industry and society.

Main Areas of Activity

The activities of the Department of Scientific Works and Implementation are carried out in the following key scientific and organizational areas:

1. Organization and Coordination of Research Activities– developing and implementing research plans, coordinating research activities of university departments and research centers.
2. Training of Scientific and Academic Personnel– coordinating doctoral programs and research applicants directed to preparation of highly qualified and competitive scientific specialists.
3. Publishing Activities– preparing and publishing periodical scientific journals, collections of research articles, conference and forum materials, and other scientific publications.
4. Scientific Cooperation– developing collaboration with research institutes, higher education institutions, and scientific organizations nationally and internationally.
5. Implementation of Research Results– facilitating the application of research outcomes in various sectors of the economy and society.
