The Faculty of Engineering and Technology in the field of research activity is carried out by protecting and popularizing scientific achievements, training highly qualified specialists through postgraduate and doctoral programs (PhD) and introducing the intellectual achievements of scientists of the faculty in the educational process.
The main problem in this area is attracting excellent students and talented inventive and innovative students through scientific seminars and workshops and presentations at university and national subject contests and olympiads. It is noteworthy that the competition of young inventors of TUT, which is held at the university twice a year, brings young students and teachers to the prestigious 1,2,3 places.

The Department of Chemistry teaches the disciplines of organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical and colloid chemistry, food chemistry and methods of researching raw materials and food products in the specialties "Food Technology", "Machines and Equipment for Food Production".
