The Center for Technology Transfer, Education and Entrepreneurship (CTTEE) is a structural subdivision of the Technological University of Tajikistan.

The Center was founded in February 2020. This has been one of the results of a long-term partnership between the Technological University of Tajikistan and GIZ PECA Project (Professional Education in Central Asia).

The main objectives of CTTEE are to promote development of innovation activities at TUT and create conditions for effective interaction between the university and industry, by ensuring the transfer of the results of research activities of TUT employees through technology licensing, as well as by conducting educational activities that can contribute to the transfer of new scientific developments, innovative technologies, approaches, and methodologies to the private sector.

The Center for Transfer of Technology, Education and Entrepreneurship of the Technological University of Tajikistan facilitates the implementation of the scientific and technical capacity of the University in industry, as well as develops cooperation between the University and private business in the field of science and education.

Industrial enterprises, business companies and other institutions, in cooperation with the “Center for Transfer of Technology, Education and Entrepreneurship” of the Technological University of Tajikistan, can get the following benefits.

Implementation of research results

– Introduction of various recipes and food components to industrial enterprises for manufacturing food products.

Educational courses in the following areas:

– Trainings on new technologies and methods of their introduction in the production processes;

– Trainings on implementation of HACCP and Global GAP system standards;

– Trainings on basics of business planning and marketing.

In case of any specific requests of enterprises, we can organize trainings on other topics of interest.

Laboratory researches

– Conducting laboratory tests to check the quality of meat and dairy products;

– Consultations on organizing laboratory analyzes at enterprises.

If necessary, the Center can also involve scientific and technical capacity of other research institutes and universities to fulfill collaborative scientific researches and developments.

Refresher courses on protection of intellectual property were completed

On December 2, 2020, a short-term refresher courses for teachers and undergraduates of the Technological University of Tajikistan on the topic – “Protection of intellectual property objects” were completed. These courses were aimed at increasing the level of knowledge of university researchers on patenting, protection of intellectual and industrial property, rules and procedures for filing applications for obtaining protection documents, commercialization of inventions and other issues related to intellectual property. Employees of the State Institution “National Center for Patent and Information” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Boirov Farhod and Nazarov Bahodur, made a speech and thanked teachers for their active participation in these courses. At the end of the event, the ceremony of granting certificates to participants of these courses took place.

Our colleague received the gift

On January and February of this year, a series of 6-day online seminars took place at Technological University of Tajikistan on – ‘Developing technology transfer projects’, which were conducted by Russian consulting company ‘WIN Business Development’. The event was supported by GIZ PECA Project in frame of project initiative on developing capacities of the Centers for Technology Transfer, Education and Entrepreneurship in three countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. From Technological University of Tajikistan in these online seminars were attended – Sitora Ruzieva, Parvina Olimboizoda, Abdullaeva Maqsudakhon and Tolib Bahromi.

Among the invited lecturers of the seminar there were leading Russian scientists, experts on technology transfer: Trostyanskiy S. – Deputy Director of NTI MGU [ЦК НТИ МГУ БД]; Alexandrova I. – Member of the Board of ‘KM Alliance’ Association, Doctor of Technical Sciences, prof. of MADI State Technical University [МАДИ]; A. Polyakov – Head of Science Department, MISIS [НИТУ «МИСиС»]; A. Nenakhova – Director of the Corporate Innovation Department of EFKO Group of Companies; A. Yanovskiy – Consultant of the Russian Technology Transfer Network; and etc.

Yanovskiy Anton Eduardovich, prior to the event announced that for the most interesting question asked by participants at his lecture, he would send one of his books to this participant. Among participants from three countries the question of our colleague from Technological University of Tajikistan, Parvina Olimboizoda, was chosen as the most interesting and relevant, and for her active participation in the seminar and the best question, Yanovsky A.E. sent his book. Yanovskiy A.E. is a prominent scientist, consultant for the Russian Technology Transfer Network, and in the past, he was the project manager for establishing this network. In addition, he is a leading expert of several projects of the EU Framework Programs (FP6, FP7) aimed at stimulating Russian-European cooperation in the field of ICT and nanomembranes.

We are very pleased that among participants from three countries, our colleague from Technological University of Tajikistan, Parvina Olimboizoda, received a special thanks and recognition from the leading Russian expert.
