The educational-methodical department as a structural unit of the Department of Management of the Educational Process and the Quality of Education of the Technological University of Tajikistan functions to implement a unified policy for the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of engineering and technology, economists of various industries, specialists in the field of computer and information and communication technologies, metrology and standardization. To accomplish this task, it mobilizes and directs the efforts of employees, students of the Technological University of Tajikistan and all its structural divisions to achieve these strategic goals.
To accomplish the above tasks, the educational-methodical management is directly guided by regulatory documents approved by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Education”, the National Concept of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Regulation on Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Charter of the Technological University of Tajikistan, decisions of the Academic Council of the Technological University of Tajikistan, orders and decrees of the rector of the Technological University of Tajikistan.
As part of the training of competitive specialists, the educational-methodical department is developing and updating normative documents, forming a set of curricula in areas and specialties implemented at the university, developing Education Standards depending on qualification requirements and curricula for coordination with the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic Tajikistan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Taking into account international experience in training specialists, educational-methodical management: – develops and implements the concept of gradual integration of professional knowledge on the basis of a credit training system; – is responsible for the implementation of a unified system of performance of official duties, self-improvement and creativity, and also provides competitive conditions for evaluating the activities of each of the participants in a single pedagogical process; – provides a unified system of analytical analysis and quality control of professions, assessment of professional knowledge.
To accomplish the tasks set, the educational-methodical department works with all departments and faculties, evaluates the quality of education, conduct periodic monitoring and analytical analysis, develop and implement the student’s educational program.
