In September 1990, the department was created as an independent department of "Physics and Theoretical Mechanics." The head of the department was appointed Ph.D., professor Shoev N.N. Later it was renamed the Department of Experimental Physics, Physics and Engineering Graphics, and now this department is known as the Department of Physics, Telecommunications, and Technical Disciplines.
